
UP Robotics 2026 Summer Camps offer hands-on, full-day STEM experiences for rising 1st through 9th graders, running Monday–Friday from 9:00 am–3:00 pm throughout the summer (June–August). No prior experience is required for most camps, all materials are provided, and sessions are offered on a rotating weekly schedule so that your family can find a time that works for you.
1. Robot Explorers: Science, Space, Animals, and More!
$550 (4-day camp $475) | Rising Grades 1–2
Perfect for rising 1st and 2nd graders, this full-day camp introduces young learners to robotics and STEM in a fun, structured, and confidence-building environment. Each day focuses on a new theme—like outer space, animals, or simple machines—using hands-on LEGO® robot builds, beginner-friendly coding, stories, and guided teamwork activities. Campers build independence, learn to follow directions, collaborate with classmates, and proudly share what they create—all while having a blast. No prior experience needed. Our experienced instructors keep kids engaged, supported, and moving throughout the day.

2. Robot Explorers: Transportation, Rides, and Games!

This high-energy, full-day camp is designed for rising 1st and 2nd graders who love to build, move, and play. Campers design LEGO® robots inspired by cars, trains, amusement park rides, and classic games—then test them, improve them, and try again. Through guided builds, simple programming, and plenty of movement breaks, students develop problem-solving skills, confidence, and teamwork in a supportive, age-appropriate setting. Ideal for both first-time robotics students and returning Robot Explorers.

3. Tech Pioneers: Intro to Robotics

This full-day camp is the perfect introduction to robotics and engineering for rising 3rd–6th graders. Students learn how robots are built, programmed, and tested using LEGO® robotics through hands-on challenges that balance creativity and problem-solving. Campers work in small teams to build robots, experiment with simple coding concepts, and tackle fun engineering tasks designed to build confidence and independence. No prior experience is required.

4. Tech Pioneers: Obstacles and Crazy Creations
$595 (4-day camp $525) | Rising Grades 3-6
Designed for builders who want to go bigger, this camp challenges rising 3rd–6th graders to design ambitious robots and mechanical creations using LEGO® SPIKE™ Prime and our massive collection of LEGO parts. Students tackle obstacle courses, open-ended engineering challenges, and creative builds that reward imagination just as much as technical thinking. Campers learn how to plan, prototype, test, and improve their designs while working in teams and managing more complex builds. This is an ideal next step for students who love hands-on construction and want more freedom to experiment and invent. Recommended Experience: Intro to Robotics or prior experience with LEGO® SPIKE™ Prime is helpful, but not required.

5. Minecraft Coding

This full-day coding camp uses Minecraft as a creative platform to teach real programming concepts. 6. Python Coding

7. Advanced Robotics

This intensive, full-day camp is designed for students interested in advanced robotics and competitive engineering. Using real FIRST Tech Challenge concepts, students learn how competition robots are designed, built, and programmed. This camp is a strong entry point for older students interested in FTC teams or advanced STEM pathways.
