Group classes are great — but they're not for everyone. Some students want to move faster. Some need a little more time. Some just want to explore something they're genuinely curious about, without following a set curriculum.
Private robotics classes at UP Robotics give your student exactly that: dedicated instruction tailored entirely to them. Whether they want to dive deep into coding, build and program their own robots, or simply explore something new, we'll design every session around what they want to learn.

What we cover:
Sessions can focus on coding, robotics, or a mix of both — whatever fits your student best. We'll work with you to set a direction at the start and adjust as they grow. We can use Lego or Vex Robotics systems, or use Arduino robotics kits. Coding languages include, Scratch, Python, Java, and more.
Session Pricing
One-on-One (1 student) $700 / 4 weeks (per student)
Pair (2 students) $500 / 4 weeks (per student)
Small group (3 students) $400 / 4 weeks (per student)
We will work with you to build a schedule based on your schedule and instructor availability. Classes run four weeks and include a two-hour session each week at our Woodmont Avenue location in Bethesda. Classes renew every four weeks for as long as your student wants to keep going.
