Instructor – After-School Enrichment STEM Programs
Are you passionate about inspiring young minds and creating a fun, engaging learning environment? UP Robotics is looking for enthusiastic after-school enrichment instructors to join our team! In this role, you’ll guide students through exciting hands-on activities, encouraging creativity and problem-solving skills. No prior experience with coding or robotics is required—we will teach you everything you need to know!
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead small classes (6-12 students) in fun, interactive STEM lessons.
• Create a positive, safe, and engaging atmosphere for students.
• Encourage teamwork and individual problem-solving through hands-on projects.
• Support students as they explore coding, LEGO robotics, and other STEM activities (training provided).
Qualifications:
• Experience working with children in any capacity (after-school programs, camps, education, etc.).
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
• Enthusiastic about working with students in a creative and interactive environment.
• Passion for STEM is a plus, but no coding or robotics background is necessary—we’ll teach you!
What We Offer:
• Flexible schedule with opportunities to work 3-5 days per week.
• Weekday hours: 3-6 pm | Weekend hours: 9 am - 5 pm.
• Training in coding and LEGO robotics, plus ongoing professional development.
• Pay, negotiable based on experience managing students and teaching STEM.
